Program Description

With a technical focus on incident response and emergency response team management, this certificate is designed to address the importance of a reliable energy grid through an educated workforce that aligns with the University's goal of serving the national public interest through an interdisciplinary study of critical national security issues. The goal of the certificate is to support the national defense enterprise by giving graduates the knowledge and tools needed to identify and address gaps in critical infrastructure. Graduates will have the necessary skills to analyze, design, develop, and implement key concepts that are relevant to energy challenges facing military installations connected to public energy infrastructure.

Admission Criteria

Participants should have some background in cybersecurity and principles of installation management.

A bachelor's degree in any discipline from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or an equivalent degree from a foreign institution, as evaluated by WES, IERF, or SpanTran.
