Civic Engagement Minor

Civic engagement is essential to the underpinnings and survival of a republic. Going beyond voting, civic engagement is fundamentally about creating healthy communities in which ordinary citizens define the common good through sustained public collaboration. In this vein, the minor will expose students to the theoretical concepts of citizenship and how to apply them, including through an internship.
