Program Description
The Religious Studies Minor introduces students to the diversity of the world’s religious traditions through multidisciplinary study. Students will develop their scholarly skills by analyzing historical and religious texts and practices through multiple theoretical frameworks, charting long-term changes in individual and communal perspectives on the sacred. A minor in religious studies will give students the ability to understand diverse points of view, a useful skill across business, military, and government service contexts.

Explain the diverse nature of religious and ethical systems in human societies using theoretical models.
