Description

Provides students the opportunity to synthesize learning from previous seminars applying the concepts through an academic portfolio that includes selection of previous papers, including a paper reflecting on what was learned in the program and the preparation of a written capstone paper. Practical or theoretical solutions are used to a problem within an organization, industry, or community relevant to each student’s work or career goals. The student will present their findings, giving them experience in presenting their ideas to a leadership team. Finally, students will write a paper suitable for publication in a professional journal or complete a Learning Development Portfolio. Students must exhibit in-depth critical thinking, organizational analysis, and effective writing. Prerequisites: Completion of all prior required core and concentration courses or Permission of the Program Director.
