Description
An introduction to computing concepts and programming including the design and implementation of classes and complex data types. The course uses a high-level object-oriented language and emphasizes object-oriented design and implementation techniques. Good software engineering practice and language-specific concepts are introduced by means of programming projects that illustrate the importance of software quality attributes. This course serves as the basis for more advanced programming classes. 3 Lecture hours and 2 Lab hours. Credit may not be earned for CS 140 and CYBR 210. Prerequisite: Grade of C or higher in CS 142. Offered: Fall, Spring.
