Program Description

Description

Mathematics and Computer Science often go hand-in-glove in solving contemporary issues. Majors will get a solid theoretical background in mathematics along with the methodology necessary to apply the theory and tackle real-world problems. Students will also learn about the use of technology in solutions, and what the implications of using particular hardware, software, and applications are to their work. Full training on computing environments, databases, and online safety will be given. Seniors can choose whether to complete a capstone in mathematics or in computer science. Graduates with the Bachelor of Science will be well-prepared for a variety of careers, as well as for graduate-based studies.
