Geology continuously impacts our everyday lives. Topics in Applied Geology examines relevant connections between geology, society, and other disciplines. Geologic principles are presented using an interdisciplinary approach that stresses the importance of understanding this foundational natural science. Topics vary by course but strive for relevancy and connections with other disciplines and will include experiential learning such as experiments, mock investigations, case studies, and service projects. Repeatable with a different topic up to 4 times; this includes any topic offered as a 199 course with the same title. Offered Fall of odd years.
