Description

This course explores topics of historical or contemporary interest specific to Latinas/os in the United States. Students will read, analyze and discuss materials from the 19th through the 21st centuries to garner a better understanding of Latina/o identity and to explore cultural themes and historical issues that have shaped the United States based Latina/o community. Courses numbered SP 368 Topics in Latinas/os may be repeated for credit up to four times when offered as different topics. 3 Lecture hours. Taught in English. Prerequisite: EN 111. Offered: Fall.
