Description

This course explores topics of historical or contemporary interest specific to Latinas/os in the United States. It is taught in English. Students will read, analyze, and discuss materials from the 19th through the 21st centuries to garner a better understanding of Latina/o identity and to explore cultural themes and historical issues that have shaped the United States-based Latina/o community. Courses numbered SP368 Topics in Latinas/os may be repeated for credit up to four times, when offered as different topics. 3 lecture hours. Taught in English. Prerequisite: EN111.
