Description
Developing skills and habits needed to thrive from a holistic health perspective. Classes build resilience by developing and enhancing emotional and self-regulation skills to improve the response to acute stressors; building confidence, social support and resource awareness to deal with acute and chronic stressors; and improving working knowledge and application of appropriate nutrition, physical activity and sleep behaviors that support resiliency over time. Assignments promote skills practice in a realistic and personal setting. Credit cannot be earned when taken as HHPR 199; Resilient Bodies. Offered: Fall, Spring.
